While waiting for Sang's graduation to finish, I decided to check out the room's sound setup/acoustics. This is always a good practice when you enter a room like a theater or auditorium, etc... What observations can you make about Zellerbach from these pics?
Pic 1:
ReplyDelete- 8 speaker array on either ends. 3 speakers in the center.
- Black curtain that can help mute extraneous sound waves.
- Ceiling has a slant, maybe to help with the sound?
Pic 2:
- I think I see choir mics.
- Three panels, but I hesitate to call them speakers because they seem a bit too high for that.
Pic 3:
- Wall behind instrumentalists seems like it's used to either help amplify sound forward or to mute extra sound going backwards and up.
